Bio

Afi Sika Kuzeawu, a versatile artist from Lomé, Togo, delves into introspection, blending inner and outer worlds through music composition, storytelling, and engaging performances. Her debut album "nubu" features seven original tracks. Holding a jazz music bachelor's degree, she furthered her studies in the master program Music and Movement, with a minor in contemporary dance. With over 15 years of experience, she seamlessly merges African motifs with jazz and contemporary dance forms. Afi has performed with renowned groups like "Grün-Weiss Aquisgrana Aachen e.v." and participated in productions like "The Welcoming Party"  at the Ruhrtriennale Festival der Künste in Germany. Her current solo project, "to see or not to see," challenges physical appearance stereotypes with pieces like "hold her together" and "LOOK." Afi also leads community projects like Treffpunkthochdrei at the University of Bern.
