Bio
Carlos Dou Bécho, a passionate Ivorian dancer, performer, and choreographer, based in Switzerland specializes in traditional African, contemporary, and urban dance styles. He trained at the École des Sables in Senegal, where he earned a diploma in African and contemporary dance, followed by a certificate in dance pedagogy. Carlos continues to enhance his skills through various workshops, including those at the University of the Arts in Amsterdam and the artistic laboratory Fari Foni Waati in Mali.
His extensive stage experience spans from 2007 to 2023, with notable performances such as "Tout Terrain" in Mali and "Identity" in Côte d'Ivoire. In recent years, he has been involved in productions like "L-Movement" and "IZIHANE-Bewege" in Germany. Additionally, Carlos is engaged in community activities, contributing to workshops and festivals across Africa and Europe, including Danse Afrique Danse in Mali and the MASA festival in Abidjan.
